How to play Krillion
The official daily game
- The official Krillion game is free in the browser at krillion.io.
- Each day, every player gets the same seven prompts, one at a time.
- You get roughly 20–25 seconds per prompt to type one answer that fits.
- Valid answers that many people give score little; valid answers few people give score a lot. Your total is shown as depth.
- Fan guides report that the new daily set opens at midnight New York time. Check the official site for the current schedule and any paid extras.
How our practice dive works
- 7 original prompts per dive, 25 seconds each.
- If your answer is not on our list, you can try again while the clock runs. When time runs out the round scores 0.
- Tiers: Surface 10 · Shallows 25 · Reef 50 · Abyss 80 · Trench 100. Every point = 10 metres; max 700 points / 7,000 m.
- “Today's practice set” is the same for everyone on this site for the day (UTC). “Unlimited practice” is shuffled every time.
Strategy: how to dive deeper
Skip your first thought
The first answer that pops into your head is usually everyone else's first answer too. Use it as a safety net only if the clock is nearly out.
Think in sub-categories
For “a bone”, jump to the ear or the wrist. For “a capital city”, jump to a smaller country. Narrowing the area finds rarer answers fast.
Stay valid
A clever answer that isn't on the list scores nothing. Rare and correct beats impressive and wrong.
Watch spelling
Matching is forgiving on case, accents and punctuation, but a misspelled word may not match.
